What to do if you lose your pet:
- Don't waste any time, pets can travel a good distance once they are lost.
- Search your pets favorite place.
- Search the neighborhood. Knock on doors and let your neighbors know you have lost your pet.
- Call the local vets. If your pet was hit by a car sometimes they are dropped off to get medical attention.
- Call the newspaper and place an ad

- Place notices on local websites for lost and found pets
- Make up flyers with a photo.
- Visit the county shelter. Make sure you take flyers with you. These agencies will post your flyer.
