10 Reasons to Foster

What to do if you lose your pet:

  1. Don't waste any time, pets can travel a good distance once they are lost.
  2. Search your pets favorite place.
  3. Search the neighborhood. Knock on doors and let your neighbors know you have lost your pet.
  4. Call the local vets. If your pet was hit by a car sometimes they are dropped off to get medical attention.
  5. Call the newspaper and place an ad
    (Prescott Courier 778-0500)
  6. Place notices on local websites for lost and found pets
  7. Make up flyers with a photo.
  8. Visit the county shelter. Make sure you take flyers with you. These agencies will post your flyer.
Call their lost pet hotline DAILY.
